The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (FISIP UNPAD), also contributes to SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy by raising awareness on sustainable energy solutions and their societal impact.

In 2023, FISIP hosted a Public Lecture: Seismic & Off-Grid Challenges in Solar System Houses. This lecture explored the technical and social aspects of solar energy implementation, particularly in off-grid areas, where access to affordable and clean energy is crucial for improving community welfare. The discussion highlighted the importance of renewable energy in achieving sustainability goals, as well as the need for interdisciplinary approaches to address infrastructure, policy, and social adaptation.

Through this initiative, FISIP UNPAD affirms its commitment to advancing the discourse on renewable energy, encouraging sustainable practices, and supporting Indonesia’s transition toward a cleaner and more inclusive energy future.
