Supporting SDG 8: FISIP Unpad Safeguards Fairness and Accountability in Employment Practices

FISIP Universitas Padjadjaran is committed to safeguarding the welfare and rights of all workers, including permanent employees and outsourced personnel within the campus environment. This commitment aligns with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and refers to Rector’s Regulation No. 4 of 2025 on the Guidelines for the Implementation of Remuneration.

Equal Rights for Civil Servants and Non-Civil Servants
Faculty members and administrative staff at FISIP consist of both Civil Servants (PNS) and Non-Civil Servants. Both groups enjoy equal rights and responsibilities, with the only distinction being the source of funding: Civil Servants are financed through the state budget (APBN), while Non-Civil Servants are funded by Universitas Padjadjaran.

Outsourced Personnel
While remuneration for outsourced personnel is not regulated in detail by the university, since it is the responsibility of third-party providers—operational needs such as cleaning and security services at UNPAD are fulfilled through an outsourcing system determined by an official annual tender mechanism. Although the contracted provider may change, the principles of accountability and fairness remain consistently upheld.

Through these measures, FISIP Universitas Padjadjaran ensures that all workers within the campus community receive fair treatment and rights in line with prevailing labor standards.
