RESEARCH FUNDING AT FISIP UNPAD: Driving Impactful Research for Sustainability

At FISIP Unpad, research funding is more than just numbers—it is a commitment to strengthening higher education, advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and creating real impact for society and the achievement of the SDGs.

Key Funding Achievements
External Funding (Ministry): IDR 1,110,470,000 supporting 12 research projects.
Internal Funding (Universitas Padjadjaran): IDR 1,620,230,000 supporting 36 research projects.

The internal research is funded by Unpad, meanwhile external research funding is distributed across four main programs:

  1. Fundamental Research – Regular: 7 projects
  2. Indonesian Collaborative Research: 2 projects
  3. Master to Doctoral Research Grant: 2 projects
  4. Master’s Thesis Research: 1 project

Cross-Department Collaboration
Funded projects span across multiple disciplines—Business Administration, Public Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Government Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, and Social Welfare—reflecting strong academic collaboration within FISIP.

Contribution to the SDGs
These projects contribute directly to several Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3–9, SDG 11–17, with a dominant focus on SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions).

Through strategic research funding, FISIP Unpad strengthens its role as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions. By aligning academic excellence with societal needs and the global agenda of the SDGs, we ensure that every research initiative not only advances knowledge but also creates meaningful impact for communities, the nation, and beyond.
