Building Inclusive Campuses: FISIP UNPAD Strengthens PPKS Task Force with Student Participation

From July to September 2024, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Padjadjaran carried out a collaborative program with the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia. In this initiative, 15 students consisting of 10 female and 5 male participants were actively engaged as research assistants and field assistants. Their involvement contributed directly to strengthening the capacity of the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) in higher education.

This collaboration also reflected a broader commitment to empowering women and encouraging their participation in areas that are often underrepresented. Through outreach efforts and partnerships with universities, community organizations, government institutions, and NGOs, the program supported a national campaign aimed at advancing gender equality and creating safer, more inclusive learning environments.
