The CSR Department of the Business Administration Student Association (Himabis) at FISIP Universitas Padjadjaran has introduced an initiative designed to support the basic needs of women on campus. This program provides sanitary pads in the restrooms of every FISIP building, ensuring that both students and staff have easier access to facilities that enhance comfort and support their academic and daily activities.
Beyond serving as a practical facility, this initiative delivers an important message about care for women’s reproductive health and the collective responsibility to create a gender-sensitive academic environment. With this facility in place, female students and staff are expected to feel more secure, supported, and empowered as they go about their routines on campus.
At the same time, the program highlights the active role of students in strengthening an inclusive campus culture that responds to the diverse needs of its community. This simple yet meaningful effort also reflects FISIP Unpad’s broader commitment to supporting SDG 5: Gender Equality, reinforcing its dedication to building an academic environment that is equitable, inclusive, and empowering for women as an integral part of sustainable development.
