FISIP Cafeteria for SDG 2: Affordable Meals, Adequate Nutrition

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) cafeteria demonstrates its role in addressing student hunger through a practical and effective approach. In line with the metric definition, namely “Efforts made to reduce student hunger, such as the provision of affordable cafeterias,” the FISIP cafeteria focuses on two main aspects: price and portion size.

The FISIP cafeteria implements a “student-friendly” pricing strategy to ensure that all students have access to adequate food. By setting affordable prices, this cafeteria reduces the financial barriers that often cause food insecurity among students. In addition, the cafeteria also pays attention to the portions of food served, which are “not small.” This ensures that the food purchased by students provides sufficient satiety and adequate nutritional intake.

This approach is in line with the spirit of SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), which aims not only to ensure that everyone has access to food, but also to ensure that the food is sufficient and nutritious. By providing affordable food and adequate portions, the FISIP cafeteria directly contributes to the campus’s efforts to create an environment where no student goes hungry due to financial problems.
