FISIP Canteen Tackles Student Hunger with Affordable and Nutritious Meals

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) canteen demonstrates its role in intervening in staff hunger with a practical and effective approach. In accordance with the definition of the metric, which is “Efforts made to reduce staff hunger such as the existence of a low-cost canteen”, the FISIP canteen focuses on two main things: price and portions.

The FISIP canteen implements a “pocket-friendly” pricing strategy to ensure that all students have access to decent food. By setting affordable prices, the canteen reduces the financial barriers that often cause food insecurity among students. In addition, the canteen also pays attention to the portion of food served, which is “not small.” This ensures that the food purchased provides sufficient satiety and adequate nutrition.

This approach is in line with the spirit of SDG 2 (End Hunger), which not only aims to ensure everyone has access to food, but also that it is sufficient and nutritious. By providing affordable food and adequate portions, the FISIP canteen directly contributes to the campus’ efforts to create an environment where no student goes hungry due to financial concerns. buat title
