Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran is firmly committed to supporting the achievement of SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. This commitment is realized through human resource management policies and practices in accordance with Rector’s Regulation of Universitas Padjadjaran No. 4 of 2025 on the Guidelines for the Implementation of Remuneration for Academic and Administrative Staff, and Management.
Concrete steps implemented by the University, particularly within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), include:
- No Forced or Child Labor
All academic and administrative staff are recruited in compliance with government regulations and university policies. Recruitment is carried out transparently, professionally, and without involving underage workers. - Workload in Accordance with Capacity and Regulations
Assignments for faculty members and administrative staff are based on individual performance contracts, prepared at the beginning of each year and evaluated periodically. This ensures that workloads are distributed proportionally according to position, rank, and employment level. - Performance-Based Rewards
The remuneration system at Universitas Padjadjaran stipulates that compensation, including salary and incentives is provided in line with responsibilities, roles, and performance achievements. This ensures fair recognition for every individual, while fostering a productive and motivating work environment. - Transparency and Accountability
All staff performance is recorded and monitored through the university’s official reporting system. Each faculty member and staff has a clear job description with measurable targets directly linked to faculty and university performance indicators.
Through these measures, FISIP Universitas Padjadjaran ensures the creation of a healthy, fair, and development-oriented work environment that supports the growth of high-quality human resources. These practices are in line with SDG 8, which promotes decent work, inclusive economic growth, and respect for workers’ rights.
