Student Organizations as Living Laboratories of SDG 16 at FISIP Unpad

At the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Padjadjaran, education is understood not only as knowledge transfer but also as a process of character building and leadership development, viewing faculty-level student organizations (ormawa) as a crucial arena for implementing Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16). These organizations are considered a strategic asset, serving as a laboratory where students experience governance and accountability, a forum for practicing democratic processes, and an incubator for developing initiatives focused on social justice and inclusivity.

To ensure such impactful programs can flourish, FISIP Unpad provides full and structured support, including direct mentorship from supervising lecturers, facilitation of facilities and infrastructure, and comprehensive administrative and funding assistance. Through this continuous commitment, FISIP Unpad affirms that student organizations are a central part of an educational ecosystem designed to produce graduates with integrity and strong leadership, fully prepared to contribute to building a more just, peaceful, and effective society.
