Introducing the FISIP International Summer Program (ISP) 2024

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Padjadjaran has successfully concluded the FISIP International Summer Program (ISP) 2024, which continued the momentum of our International Short Course “Indonesia Outlook 2024: Diversity, Social Changes, and the Future of Government in Post-Election Indonesia.” Held from June 22 to July 23, 2024, the program brought together more than 50 participants from 5 countries, ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate students. Throughout the program, participants explored pressing issues in social and political sciences, with a particular focus on governmental leadership and social innovation in Indonesia after the national elections.

The learning experience was enriched through online lectures, workshops, and interactive discussions led by distinguished lecturers from the Government Science and Sociology programs of FISIP Unpad. Participants actively contributed to collaborative sessions, shared perspectives from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, and gained deeper insights into Indonesia as a multicultural society. The success of ISP 2024 stands as a clear reflection of FISIP Unpad’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. It also demonstrates the faculty’s ongoing efforts to expand international academic collaboration, create inclusive learning environments, and foster the principle of lifelong learning for all.

Through ISP 2024, FISIP Unpad reaffirmed its dedication to bridging academic knowledge with the wider community, ensuring that education is not only a privilege but also a shared right that empowers future leaders and innovators to make a positive global impact.
