This paper explores the metaphor of “Goodwill Hunting”—originally a movie title—to discuss creating and building goodwill for the common good across multiple species. Through a metalogue approach, it investigates setting up multispecies hubs using local wisdom in South Africa, Australia, and Indonesia. The paper addresses balancing individual and species needs, scaling local wisdom, and promoting actionable projects on water security and soil protection. The study incorporates community participatory methods and reflections based on Indigenous custodians’ perspectives.
