Master of Business Administration

The programme aims to produce a graduate competency level covering various business scales, with professional careers from operational and managerial to executive decision-making levels in various business sectors and fields (source). The missions carried out to achieve the goal of this program are:

  1. the theory and application of business functions according to their concentration/specialisation;
  2. system development and governance;
  3. theories of business administration, organisation, and business leadership in business policy and strategy – and can develop and apply them;
  4. theory and analysis of environmental aspects that influence business;
  5. research methodology, with a systems approach, and are able to publish scientific papers.

The PEO here aims to build strategic business capabilities founded on core functions like finance, operations, HR, and marketing, while fostering entrepreneurship, leadership, and governance. It develops broad thematic knowledge (e.g., digital business, SMEs, fintech) and hones analytical, systematic, and design thinking skills alongside research methods. This culminates in the capacity to address company challenges by analytically using data-driven techniques to pinpoint issues, create solutions, and implement development plans.

Master of Business Administration program, ranking 7th nationally (Edurank) and 551+ (QS), focuses on developing strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial leaders versed in modern themes like digital business and fintech. The curriculum is periodically updated with industry input, ensuring 100% graduate field suitability. Graduates successfully become entrepreneurs (27%), academics (27%), and private sector managers (18%). Aligned with Unpad’s “world-class university” vision, the program is actively pursuing FIBAA international accreditation and fostering international collaboration involving both students and lecturers.
