The programme has the vision to become a social work higher education manager who develops education, research and community service based on social entrepreneurship and has a competitive advantage. It also has missions to:

1. Develop and implement a competency-based social work higher education curriculum that’s anticipatory of developments and needs of global society and technology;
2. Organise the Teaching and Learning Process for students by continuing to develop effective and efficient methods and media according to the needs of the educational curriculum developed;
3. Improve the qualifications and competence of lecturers, through improving education and training;
4. Developing a social entrepreneurial spirit for students both through curricular (practicum) and extracurricular activities (Student Creativity Program activities and student organisation activities), to produce creative, innovative, and independent students, based on knowledge, skills, and social work ethics.

The PEO here aims to produce graduates who have mastery social work theories and hukanities while understanding human behavior andd environmental contexts. Who will be able to apply principles of social justice, human rights, and ethics in practice with independent and entrepreneurial spirit. The graduates that able to demonstrate critical thinking, make data-driven decisions on developing science and technology that upholds human values, collaborate and supervice effectively, and implement social interventions using appropriate methods and technique at micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
